Meet The Maker!

Hi, I'm Kat!

The hands and heart behind Mrs. P's Porch.

Welcome. I'm so happy you're here!

I'm a Jesus lover, wife, mom of three beautiful girls, and the artist behind Mrs. P's Porch, a small handmade business based in Oswego, Illinois.

What started in 2017 as a creative outlet has grown into something I never could have imagined. Over the years, my love for woodworking and creating has continued to evolve, allowing me to explore everything from intricate, hand-cut wooden mosaics and floral artwork to personalized keepsakes, seasonal decorations, and meaningful gifts.

One of my favorite things about what I do is taking an ordinary piece of wood and turning it into something truly special.

As a self-taught artist, I'm constantly learning, experimenting, and challenging myself to try new things. Every piece I create reflects my love for the little details and the joy that comes from making something with my own two hands.

When you shop with Mrs. P's Porch, you're supporting more than a small business. You're supporting a mom, an artist, and a dream that has continued to grow thanks to wonderful people like you.

Thank you for being here and allowing me to share a little piece of my creativity with you!

With love,

Kat
